I've been with Tello for 7 months now after my former Magenta provider decided to renig on their agreement to never raise our rates. I'm glad I found Tello, with the same great coverage I have seen no difference other than a fatter wallet with the savings. The port was simple, the service excellent, and will remain a long term customer until given a reason to leave. I've already helped several other friends and family make the switch.

Tello offers great service at a great price. I pay $10 a month for unlimited talk and text and 2 gigabytes of data, which might not sound like much for many people, but it's all I need. This is a great plan for seniors like myself, who are always looking to economize.

Email response for troubleshooting is very fast. There was a problem with roaming settings overseas, but I was able to resolve it with two emails. I think Tello has excellent staff who know a lot about networking. This is perfect trouble shooting lol.

I upgraded my plan and it was very easy. I think it took less than two minutes. I am an author and I needed a second cell phone to handle sales at book signing events. I have been using Tello for a few months now and despite the lack of 5G service I am very pleased.

We use it for banking purposes out of the country, and even works with our iphone itself functioning as the wifi server (based on local cell phone company), so we aren't tied to an outside wifi connection. They also helped us port in our old number--worked on the 2nd try, after we updated info with our previous carrier.

This is an email I sent to Kevin a customer support representative at Tello who provided superior customer service to me. Thank you that was very very helpful and very quick response, I used to work in a call center and worked my way up to the email team so I know how hard is to be thorough and quick. I was able to get internet going after trying most of these steps, I added it manually but I may have not needed to. However I did finally get internet , yay. I think I had roaming on which I don't know why and I turned that off and changed the network also. But I think the manual addition of the port and all that was necessary. ALL I am saying is you provided me with ALL of it which was fantastic. Thank you. It was one of the most painless customer service I have received. Have called Tello support 4 or 5 times in 2024. In each of the calls, the Tello representative addressed my questions and concerns in a polite professional manner. This is an oddity in this era. The Tello reps were able to answer questions accurately without ever putting the call on hold. I don't know who is managing the training of the reps, but they are doing a great job.

Easy change over from my old service and love being able to transport my old number

I bought a special edition phone from Asia, no American phone carrier will support it but tello does. Not only does it support the phone but it is reliable service in places my tmobile phone get terrible reception.

Tello is just great. besides being reasonable in cost and smooth in operation, they have immediate phone support that is exceptional. I celebrated a couple of years ago when I left the awful AT&T to join Tello.

Great rates for data/talk, and free text. There are areas in Arizona and New Mexico that I didn't get any signal for data. In order to have roll-over data and minutes, I must renew manually each month. But by doing that, I usually lose a day or two to the next renewal date.

No hidden fees! It was exactly as described. No surprises.

I've been using Tello for a year and have the same service with Tello (2 different phone lines) as I did with TM. BUT instead of spending $98 a month at TM, I spend $30 a month at Tello. The set up was a piece of cake because Tello instructions were clear and concise. I was able to port numbers with no problem. And the service level in my home is a bit better than it was with before. One time I needed assistance, I used Tello chat. I was picked up in under a minute and the problem was resolved in less than five minutes.

I am on an extended time out of the US and needed a carrier and to preserve my number. Google Fi lied and blocked my data and Google Fi's customer service is awful and dishonest. I found Tello from reviews after two weeks looking and thought nothing to lose. The lady who helped me was fabulous. Straightforward, when she did not know a complete answer, such as time to port number, was 100 honest, there is a change, honesty ! Her voice was crystal clear, calm and precise, activated while away and she was excellent, one of the best experiences to date, so few they are easy to remember. Everything was fast and easy

I'm living and working in China for over 13 years and gave up my US number long time ago. But it's hard to do my banking without a local number so I decided to shop for a plan. Tello offers the cheapest rate for SMS and wifi calling. Great deal for me just needed a number. I still use my local calling plan but I have my own US number now.

Tello Plans are great specially for Moderate < 10GB data users and very well priced!. The plan cost advertised is however different from what your bill will be. Just know that approximately nearly 5 dollars will be added regularly above your plan's advertised price when you select a plan. Only reason for 4/5 rating.

Trust Pilot didn't have an option for a 10 stars over 5 because this is what Tello deserves. From service, customer support to pricing I have zero complaints. Plans start at $5 to everything including the kitchen sink for $25. Amazingly helpful, fast and very competent technical support. No issues at all around.
