Do I need a mobile number to use Affirm?

Yes, you’ll need a mobile phone number from the U.S. or U.S. territories. This helps Affirm verify it’s really you who is creating the account. Plus the mobile number will be used for any future security verifications.
If you change your phone number with a new one from Tello, you’ll need to update it before you can sign in to Affirm. More details on Affirm help center. Still, this doesn't apply if you choose to port in your number to Tello.
