You have options as to how much voice and data service you purchase on an automatic renewable monthly basis. They offer eSIMs if you like, and their service runs fine over WIFIs with WIFI Calling. This is very valuable when cruising on ships. If you need more voice or data, you can manually renew it at the same rate, or change your plan to automatically renew a larger (or lesser) amount of voice and/or data.
