Experience with Tello
I'm loving Tello so far and wanted to share my experience. People rarely write about their positive experiences. We have 5 lines in our family. The first 4 numbers I ported to Tello was very simple and had NO problems at all. We wanted one of our lines to be on a different carrier just in case we were in a bad t-Mobile coverage area. We chose Visible on the Verizon network. That was a huge mistake! There were NO porting issues with Visible but MANY provisioning issues. I spent 5 DAYS of constant chatting and frustration with unknowledgeable reps. (There is no number to call to speak with a human) I sugested they send me a new pSIM overnight. They said, "sure, no problem". But there was a problem. They didn't inform me it would kill the old pSim immediately and I would be without service. I then found out when the pSim didnt arrive and that it would take 5 days to arrive. How can I go 5 days with a dead phone? Hello Tello - The 5th and final number I ported from Visible to Tello had issues. It was either MY fault or possibly Visible's. Yes, I do think that it was my mistake. So I called Tello suport expecting to wait forever to get through and deal with a bunch of incompetence like Visible. I was floored the call was answered immediately and had a human on the line within a minute. ALL issues were resolved within 10 to 15 minutes. Kudo's to Customer Support: Tello has a truly amazing, technical and knowledgeable team. I think the Tello CS rep's name was Surya. He calmed me down and assured me that he could resolve my problems. He has great communication skills and listened without interrupting and understood exactly what was going on. He fixed everything immediately. Keep up the good work Tello!Wvita
