Tello is extremely affordable.

I got a Tello account as my 2nd cell phone number 6 months ago. There was no activation fee and I only pay for the minutes I use. They answered my phone calls quickly when I had questions. Why use expensive Verizon and AT&T service? I have told a few friends about Tello and some have already switched to Tello with Sprint network

Perfect for my needs

My current Tello plan is about $8 per month, and I get 500MB of data. I also buy prepaid minutes, and find that I use about $4 in minutes per month. My texting is all routed through Google Hangouts, which incurs minimal data usage. My phone is a used iPhone 5S that was formerly tied to a Sprint account. I live in an area with strong Sprint service. So I almost always have LTE service, but it sometimes switches to 3g. Overall, the speed of my connection is sufficient for emailing, Google Hangouts, browsing the web, and the occasional tethering. Tello.com billing is simple, and it is easy to refill your account and setup automatic payments. If you are a light phone user and live in an area with good Sprint service, I do not think that there is a better bargain for prepaid. I have used about five prepaid services in the past three years, and offers the best value and service for my needs.

Awesome customer service

Every time I call them (many times), they answer the phone within seconds and their English is perfect U.S. English. They are extremely helpful and pursue requests that are "outside of the box", like switching phone numbers between phones on two accounts to keep the more favorable number after a new number gets ported in. Awesome. Thank you.
