I just put the SIM card in my iPhone. The service is just like AT&T just marvelous. I got a lot of bars. I guess five up there and the service as soon as I put the SIM card and it works just like you put a key in the ignition to a car I’m very happy. I am one hour into tell and I’m very happy Mr Taylor.

My previous provider was sold and it was a mess. I moved to Tello with unlimited Talk+Text/no-data. The price was right and I actually rarely use the service, so I am a price conscious customer. I need a phone and I really like the inexpensive service. OTOH, the accumulated taxes are truly annoying. And, yes, I realize that you-all have no control over that.

Tello.com has coverage, even in the Sticks.

At the beginning of June 2026 I thought I would try out Tello.com phone service. I wanted to make sure I had good coverage in the very rural coastal town I was moving to. Well since Tello uses T-Mobile towers I tried them out. Not only did I have 100% data talk and text, I never once lost my connection. And I can tell that this location is really out in the sticks. Sadly enough the whole time my wife struggled with even getting, much less receiving a signal with Spectrum Mobile. Tello has straight forward pricing and billing plans that work well for everyone. No 'Brick and Mortar' only internet presence but easily reachable by phone. If your phone has ESim ability they can get you started in an hour. So far I would say that Tello.com has a pricing plan and coverage that works well.
