  • Check the eligible countries: Before you pack your bags, make sure your destination is on the list by checking the countries included in the Free Roaming in Europe offer. No PAYG credit is needed. Usage is drawn from your plan allowances.
  • Monitor your usage: Keep an eye on your Dashboard while traveling. If you completely use up your monthly plan allowances while abroad, any extra roaming usage will automatically be charged to your Pay As You Go balance instead.
  • Add PAYG credit if needed: If you expect to run out of plan minutes/data during your trip, or if you are traveling after the promotion ends, make sure to add some Pay As You Go credit to your account.

  This means that if you have an Unlimited plan, the minutes and Data included in your billing cycle will have the same benefits as if you were using Tello in the US.

• Do I need a special eSIM to travel to Europe?
  Nope. Your active Tello SIM or eSIM handles everything. Your US number stays active for calling and texting while your service runs on local partner networks across Europe.

This means your roaming calls, texting, and data will be deducted straight from your normal plan allowances at no extra cost. Once your plan allowances are used up, any additional roaming usage will be charged from your Pay As You Go balance, if available.

  What happens next?

  • Check the eligible countries: Before you head out, make sure your destination is covered by checking the countries included in the Free Roaming in Europe offer.
  • Plan your activation: If you are a new customer, make sure you purchase and fully activate your Tello SIM or eSIM while you are still physically in the US before you travel.
  • Keep some Pay As You Go credit handy: If you are traveling after the promotion ends or expect to use more than your monthly plan limits (including our 50 GB high-speed roaming limit or 10 GB hotspot limit), add some Pay As You Go credit to your account.

  ⚠️ Important: If you're traveling abroad, outside the destinations included in the Free Roaming in Europe offer, then you must activate and use your Tello line in the United States before. Our service cannot be initially activated outside of the US.
