First, they pick up the phone right away, a rarity today. Secondly, the speak English clearly. Thirdly, the representatives are highly trained and knowledgeable. Once they get the information about your request, they escalate it to the right person, all very professional. They give an honest time frame when the issue will be resolved and it always is. The staff, all of them, are very polite and helpful. This kind of service is wonderful and all but unheard of in our times.

Tello works seamlessly travelling abroad

I have been using Tello for my second line and recently transferred my wife’s carrier from visible to Tello. We are retired and mostly use home WiFi, so usage is about 5-7 gig. Visible unlimited was not needed and her new Tello line included unlimited calls, texts with 10gig of data. But the real value is that Tello provides international roaming. It’s not free and one has to establish a payasyougo account, say $20. We were recently in Italy and normally purchase a regional eSIM for our primary data source. Here’s the gotcha, European eSIM cards do not work in Switzerland since they are not in the European Union. That’s where Tello comes in, when I needed data Tello worked seamlessly. Therefore enabled me to use google maps, WhatsApp and more. Granted Tello is a NVMO and not perfect. I currently combine the US mobile light plan, $96 per year, 2 gig, unlimited calls and texts, with Tello data only 5gig, 10month. Yes it’s a bit crazy pants but works
