I travel abroad frequently so it’s great having Tello to make calls to the USA, but even more importantly, to receive verification messages. When I return to the US, I use to renew my AT&T subscription but that was getting difficult and expensive so I switched to eSIMs. I just discovered that I can easily change my Tello plan whenever I return. Tello is far superior to the eSIMs and AT&T.

We switch to Tello over a year ago when we moved from the us overseas. For such a low price per month I can get sms messages from banks and my grandma can call my US number. In that time they also cut pay as you go rates so they are now competitive with data only eSIMs but often with better service. The service in the US is deprioritized compared to other major networks and especially noticeable outside cities but it still works and is a good option for the price conscious or travelers. There’s no catch and customer service was great the one time I did need help. The only thing I don’t like is that there isn’t rollover if you switch your custom plan. So for example my monthly plan was ending with 2G of data left and I wanted to switch back to my usual overseas plan without data and there wasn’t rollover. If it wasn’t a difference of less than $10 this might matter more but because of the price it’s more something to be aware of.

Great customer experience from two separate agents

I spoke with two reps, Sebastian and Andy, and both were knowledgeable, professional, and efficient. I needed to move my eSim back to my old phone but could not through the self service. Sebastian generated a new eSim for me and gave me clear instructions on how to proceed before we disconnected the call. Unfortunately, I didn't follow the instructions (ROFL) and to make a long story short, I ended up deleting ALL the sims on my phone including the new request. I called back and spoke to Andy, and she regenerated the eSim again for me and cleaned up my mess. Now I have the eSim working on the correct phone. I have been with Tello for years now, and it's just solid phone service for a good price and 24/7 customer support that can't be beat. Worth every penny.

Low cost efficient service.

My whole family uses Tello because they have different plans that meet all of our needs. I recently ordered a different sim card so that I could have an extra line for a trip. It got lost in the mail so I contacted Tello customer service to cancel that line. They did so immediately and refunded my money with no issue. Never had service like that from other service providers before. I highly recommend Tello.

I've been using Tello for many years now, and I've always found the service / coverage to be as good or better than any others I've used. The best thing, however, is how easy everything is to do online. You don't have to call an agent to get port out details, for example, which is a breath of fresh air. Try that some places and you're on the phone with a foreign call center for 15 minutes.

I’ve been using Tello now for about 6 months and it’s been smooth sailing so far. Sometimes there seems to not be cellular data, when web pages and apps stalls, but could be the location gets a weak signal. Calling Cust Service is easy, quickly responded with support in a caring and professional way. Let’s not forget the great prices in the building of your own personal plan accordingly to individual needs.

My family has been using Tello for a few years now. Tello provides a great service with great price with no hidden fees or surprises. I also love the free international call service as my dad who doesn’t always have his smart phone on lives overseas, and I can call his land line anytime. The customer service has been great, being able to talk to a real person if you need to. While the price of many things are going up, I can’t believe that Tello’s service got even better (more data for the same price) a while ago! I love Tello and I hope the company stays in business for a long time!

I love Tello. It solved my communication problems at a great price. The packages give great flexibility and using Wi-Fi calling is a great option. Porting over my number was effortless once previous provider allowed me to unlock it. The eSim option worked well. Exceeds my expectations. Highly recommended. Purchased a plan for my daughter who was travelling to the US for a couple of weeks. Service worked flawlessly and was easy to get up and working. All in all a good and cheap phone no contract company…it does what it says… the only thing is if you take unlimited internet after a certain number of giga they take down the speed

I use this service for my alternate line, and even though it is a budget service, It by no means really is a budget service. I often times have better connectivity than the service I have with Visible. It may have something to do with tower location, I’m not sure, but I never have an issue. I really like the way I’m able to select exactly what I want for this line. Great idea for those that don’t necessarily need a lot of data.

I literally can't believe I found this company, really. I am so stoked but I have a bit of extreme anxiety for the simple fact that I have seen so many companies start out being awesome and just become a degenerate version of their selves after some time so I am hoping they keep it together for the long haul because I ticked all the boxes across the board to the max for everything from customer service to signal. Most cell phone providers are contract-based & expensive. I've been using Tello for a few years now and can honestly say the service (provided you have a compatible phone — you can check on their site) has been extremely reliable & you only pay for what you need. I'm able to have 3 lines and I pay less than $25 per month for all of them. And I can drop any of them at any time. I honestly recommend Tello over all other providers. I have been with several & this is the best.

Paying one third the price of my previous carrier who has a tv commercial on every minute of the day. Let someone else pay for their advertising. I wish I would have found out about Tello sooner. I'm even getting better wireless signal with no drop outs. Switch to Tello, you won't be sorry.

Today I had my first experience using Tello to get another number to use for business separate from my personal number and it was super easy to make a custom plan and activate it on my iPhone! I hit a small issue where I didn't disable my previous eSim and the customer support line via phone call was incredibly helpful. I was impressed and would recommend Tello.

The fee is exceptional. The ability to call from 40 or more countries, without extra fees Is an awesome value. The amount of roaming time is also substantial for the average user.
