Works well for my needs
Bought this phone and service twelve months ago and it will be a keeper. I live overseas and come to the U.S. for two to three months at a time. In the past I have had to get a new phone number each time I visited or use a visitors sim which screwed up my smartphone. When overseas I reduce to the minimum of $5 a month and when the plane touches down on American soil can use my phone immediately.

Very Happy with Tello! Here's Why...
I've been with Tello since February, when I found out I had to find a new provider (from Ring+). Here are the reasons why I plan to stick with Tello and they will be the first I recommend to others looking for service.
#1 - Easy to Switch - It was very easy to switch over to Tello and bring my phone (Galaxy S4), which greatly minimized the stress of finding a new provider, which was completed in what felt like no time at all! In addition, I've experienced no issues setting up recurring payments, using the website & phone app, or switching my plan if needed.
#2 - Coverage - I still have the same coverage as I did before. If anything it has improved since switching!
#3 - Pricing & Flexibility - I work mostly from home, but on occasion I will have work trips for weeks (or even months) on end. It's quite nice to be able to adjust my phone plan as needed. In addition, the prices are quite competitive (if not the best) that I've found, especially for myself, who I consider a "light user." While I was saving $$$ on my plan when I started, over time Tello has rolled out great deals and promotions, making my plan even more affordable!

Highly efficient and no frills experience in understanding and managing my phone plan. I am much more comfortable communicating with Tello, which feels very human, than with some big cold telco like Sprint, which is more like talking to a brick wall.
