Updates to a new plan are immediate. I recently had to add more minutes to a family member's plan and the change was also immediately after the final click. No turning the phone off and back on. Love Tello!

I have been with Tello for my own line for a few years. I recently went to the family plan to add a line for my wife. The addition was seamless. I have never had a disruption with Tello; and when I have occasion to call them the agent has been responsive and the result has been positive. To the best of my knowledge the pricing is the best available.

I love you guys! Thank you for providing very affordable service and allowing me to have two phone numbers on my cell phone (my former landline and my cell phone number). I wish I could get better service out here in the country. It’s fine outside but once I go inside it gets sketchy. That has to do with the number of towers available and I don’t think you have anything to do with that. Oh, your customer service on the phone is friendly and prompt. Thanks again.

Cheap and reliable - must have carrier!

My family has been using Tello for over 2 years now (switched from T-mobile and ported our numbers), and we've recommended it to all our friends and relatives (and anyone else who is willing to listen). We love the flexibility of the plans, the extremely reasonable prices, and the reliability of the service. So glad we found Tello and highly, highly recommend it over the dominance of all the "big carriers." Our only suggestion to Tello is that there should be a way to effectuate a plan change in advance for the next billing cycle rather than having to wait until the day before the automatic plan renewal and remember to change the plan.

Tello is the lowest priced telephone…

Tello is the lowest priced telephone service you will find. My wife and I have been using it over six years. We pay $15.30 (including tax) for unlimited talk and text, plus 2GB data per month.

Inexpensive, and good customer service

Pretty much everyone in my family (myself included) has had issues when first setting up the phone with the new Tello sim card. Customer service is pretty helpful and sent us new sim cards. After that, I don't think I've had any major issues for the last two years I've used them. They cost a fraction of what most friends and family pay, and my service is reliable. For all that, I'd say it's worth the 5 stars I'm giving them. One thing to be aware of: don't listen to Tello when they say your phone works the same outside the US. I went to Australia thinking it would work just fine and I found out they only meant that my phone service works when connected to wifi. If you're traveling, you can't count on always having wifi access points when getting directions, calling if your rental car breaks down in the middle of nowhere, or finding restaurants near attractions you're visiting.

Moved 4 lines about a year ago

Moved 4 lines about a year ago. Solid service and prices that are the best. Great customer service too. Needless to say, I'm a fan.

I have 3 lines with Tello and they are awesome. I had smart talk in the past and Tello is way better service and better priced!
