I hesitated trying a cheaper phone company for years. BIG MISTAKE I've been saving $58 a month for over 2 years now without any problem at all.

I spent $68 a month for years but I didn't send many texts or spend a lot of time on calls. I thought for years about trying one of the cheaper phone companies and I really regret not doiing it sooner because I have been paying $10 a month for about 2 years now and haven't had even one problem. I told my sister about it and she even recently asked me the name of the company I use. She is hesitant to make the switch the same way I was. If people knew the truth EVERYONE would swith to Tello. I'm saving over $600 a year and I'm sure most people have a more expensive plan than I did because I had the minimum amount of texts and minutes that I could get by with. i've posted on Facebook several times about my experience with Tello but not even one person has tried it out. They seriously need to find a better way to market their service, maybe first month free or something, anything to convince people to at least try it. A+++ Lighting Fast Service / Many Features

A+++. Ported my number from my old carrier into Tello.com in just 2 minutes after I placed the request online. TWO minutes. That's right. In 2 minutes I was ready to roll with Tello.com without doing anything to my phone which was able to recognize Tello and update the APN with ZERO input on my part. The visual voice mail from the old carrier stopped working, but a Tello rep asked to set up a different application, which is far more better than the old one from the old carrier because it provides FREE TRANSCRIPTS to all voice mails. For that service alone some carriers charge $3 / month. Got it FREE with Tello. Most important, I am quite happy with all the flexibility and features Tello offers, as compared to my old carrier: 1. Can use the same phone number when travelling outside the US. 2. Can use wifi to make and receive calls. 3. No yearly contract required. 4. Can adjust my plan anytime to exactly what I want. 5. FREE visual voice mail transcripts through an ap. FREE. This is a 21st century feature that only a few carriers provide. I did not not know Tello offers it, and I would have switched carriers only for this feature alone. It is mistake for Tello not to mention this great FREE feature in its web site. A lot people will switch to get FREE visual voice mail transcripts. Because of the above features Tello looks 21st century to me, and my old carrier 20th century. Quite happy with Tello.com

Tello's prices and communications are excellent

Tello's prices and communications are excellent. I never have to wonder when I'm going to get charged or how much my bill will be. Everything just stays the same which is exactly how I like it. My only complaint is with the actual signal. Since I've been on Tello's network, I have more connectivity issues when in urban areas that are on a more modern radio standard.
