Cheap way to keep old phone numbers

I was looking for a cheap way to save two phone numbers that had at one time been land lines. The cost of the Tello plans made activating the numbers on old cell phones very appealing.

I use my phone as a phone, not a computer mostly. So I don't need a big streaming phone account. Tello offers a basic phone plan for what I need.
