Tello is a wonderful service for Canadian travellers

Tello is a wonderful service, has amazing connectivity, fantastic customer service and is so affordable compared to traveling with a Canadian cellular provider. I already recommend Tello to all of my friends and family and any other Canadian traveling to the US or even to the Caribbean. Forget roam like home, Tello is a better choice period. I use my own compatible cell phone and just installed the e-Sim card. This is now my second time using it.

Affordable Pricing

The prices of plans are amazingly affordable and the overview given on the app/site are very helpful. The website layout is easy enough to navigate where as the app seems to have less features/control but can still be pretty convenient (although adding more high speed within the app would be pretty nice). Only thing I have an issue with is not having the option to renew your subscription ahead of time. It's not much of an issue as I don't normally use a lot of my high speed in my unlimited plan, but I would like to have to option to renew before the expected date as it would be very useful for vacations or road trips when you run out of high speed and have no access to a public WiFi network. I do enjoy having unlimited but sometimes the slower speed makes it impossible, or at least more difficult, to use even the Tello website when trying to simply add more high speed data.

great but expensive roaming

Everything has been great, especially with the eSIM which I could do over the web last year before travelling to the US. Working "over wifi" on my iPhone, even SMS text, is great when I'm not in the US. Payment (card, apple pay...) works fine. The only pain points: * the app UI is a little confusing sometimes (but not terrible) * Roaming in Europe is a bit on the expensive side. It only works in "Pay as you go" mode and 1 cent per MB is too 5 years ago.
