Phone calls and texting while traveling abroad are excellent and affordably priced—definitely 5 stars. However, data usage, especially with apps like Google Maps for navigation, can become EXTREMELY costly very quickly—only 1 star for that aspect.

This is the best budget phone service I have found. One of the best parts is that you basically design your own plan according to your own needs and budget. I have never had any problems and I have been with this service about 3 years. As of now I don't have any plans of ever switching services.
