Today Lucas settled my issue with my account. I attempted to swap devices last night to no avail. This morning I called in and received immaculate service from Lucas who was extremely supportive and calm. He walked me through regaining access to my old phone. And we ascertained the issue was with my newer device still being locked to T Mobile service. I was assured my T Mobile previously that the device was unlocked. 10 stars to Lucas for getting my service back on.
