I've had no issues with them so far, contacted them for stuff I was confused about or something I didn't know how to do and they were really helpful and resolved it quick without problems. I don't use the Tello app for calling besides checking on my account with payments, etc. Because sometimes the call would randomly hangup, so I just use my default call app.
But other than that, my experience with them been good.

I have had a very good experience with Tello so far. The service is easy to set up, the plans are flexible, and the pricing is very affordable. I especially like being able to keep my US phone number while traveling between the US and China. Wi-Fi Calling works well for me in China, and the mobile service works smoothly when I return to the US. Overall, Tello is a convenient, cost-effective, and practical choice. I would definitely recommend it. One area for improvement would be more reliable cellular roaming in China.

I have been a very Happy customer of Tello for over 5 years and have always been on the $10.00 per month Plan and always gotten excellent service. In those 5 years I think I may have contacted Customer Service 3 times and have always been pleasantly surprised that within just a couple of rings a REAL person answers the phone and will be able to resolve your problem without a transfer. Yesterday was no exception. I had just purchased a new Pixel phone and was switching from a Motorola to the Pixel. Well the new Pixel has an eSIM and the process of the activation seemed simple enough, on the Tello website, but I am almost 80 years old and not as sharp as I used to be and somehow messed the activation up. Well, after initially thinking, Now What? I'm Screwed! I got my wife's phone and called Tello Customer Service. After 1 or 2 rings a nice gentleman, Lucas, answered the phone. I explained my dilemma, he said no problem and that he could get me up and running. He patiently walked me through the steps, never once making me feel like I couldn't do it, even after again doing something wrong on my end. Well the 3rd time was the charm and than he stayed on the line with me until he was able to see that I was connected properly and even make a first call, I am now up and running with a new phone. I am amazed how great both Tello's phone service is and their Customer Service is even more amazing and for me for less than $125.00 PER YEAR. I actually feel a little guilty when each month I pay less than $10.50 including taxes for a phone I use everyday with no issues or problems for unlimited Calls/Texting and up to 2 GB of Data. Thanks again to Tello for their Great Service, their Great Employees and their Great Prices.
