Purchase was fine but a waste of money.

Purchased $20 worth of additional data for my wife’s phone. The transaction was easy and the data was immediately available. The reason I am only giving 4 stars is because I previously bought $20 “pay as you go” for my phone because I was traveling to Canada and wanted to use my phone. I did, using exactly $1.15 for international roaming, leaving an unused balance of $18.95. I could not use that money to buy data for my wife and I doubt I will be traveling internationally again. I cannot apply the $18.95 to my monthly charge so I guess I will just have to kiss that money goodbye. It’s a bit of a shame.

This service is perfect for my 11-year-old who does not need a lot of talking time and mostly sends me texts saying he is ready to be picked up from events. A flip phone keeps him safe from dangerous websites and smartphone addiction at a young age. Once my phone crashed and I used his Tello for a month as my own phone. It got me great service within every major city and town.
