Can I save data while using a Tello plan?

Absolutely! To help prevent overages, you can enable these simple settings on your phone: Low Data Mode for iOS and Data Saver for Android.

iPhone Users:
  • Open Settings
  • Tap Cellular (or Mobile Service)
  • Tap Cellular Data Options (or Mobile Service Options)
  • Tap Data Mode
  • Select Low Data Mode

Android Users:
  • Samsung phones:
    • Open Settings
    • Tap Connections
    • Tap Data Usage
    • Now tap Data Saver
    • Toggle the switch to turn it on
  • Pixel phones:
    • Open Settings
    • Tap Network & Internet
    • Tap Data Saver
    • Turn it ON
