What's a security PIN?
A Security PIN is a 4-digit number that provides an essential layer of safety for your Tello account. You should set this up as soon as possible after creating your account to ensure your information stays protected.

This 4-digit code gives you exclusive permission to make major account changes, such as:
Keep in mind that your Security PIN is separate from your account password. It is also different from the Port-out PIN required if you ever decide to move your number to a different provider

- Device changes or SIM swaps.
- Port-outs (transferring your number to another carrier).
- Account deletion.
- Important changes to your account information
- Set it up immediately: Look for the prompt right after you create your online account.
- Resetting if forgotten: If you can't remember your PIN, log in to your account on our website (not the app) and go to the My Information section.
- Check your phone: You'll receive a temporary reset code via SMS; enter this code on the website to create a brand-new PIN.
