How can I set up call forwarding?

You can forward your calls to another local U.S. number at no extra charge. While the feature itself is free, remember that any minutes used by the forwarded calls (including those answered by the destination's voicemail) will be deducted from your plan or Pay As You Go balance.

How to Activate Call Forwarding
You can usually find Call Forwarding in your phone's Settings menu, but using dialer codes is the fastest way to set it up. Use the following format:
  1. Unconditional Call Forwarding (All Calls): To Activate: Dial **21*1 + the 10-digit number + #.
    Example: **21*12061111111#
    To Deactivate: Dial ##21#

  2. Call Forwarding when No Answer: To Activate: Dial **61*1 + the 10-digit number + #.
    Example: **61*12061111111#
    To Deactivate: Dial ##61#

  3. Call Forwarding when Not Reachable (Out of Coverage): To Activate: Dial **62*1 + the 10-digit number + #.
    Example: **62*12061111111#
    To Deactivate: Dial ##62#

  4. Call Forwarding when Busy (Rejected Calls): To Activate: Dial **67*1 + the 10-digit number + #.
    Example: **67*12061111111#
    To Deactivate: Dial ##67#

✅ Pro-Tip:
To enable call forwarding, your plan must include data.
If your current plan doesn’t include data, you’ll need to update it to a plan that has at least some data in order to set up the call forwarding feature.

⚠️ Warning
Calls cannot be forwarded to international numbers. Additionally, when Call Forwarding is active, callers will no longer reach your Tello voicemail; they will be directed to the forwarding number instead.

Next Steps
  • Test the forwarding by calling your Tello number from a different line after setup.
  • Ensure the destination number is a valid, active 10-digit U.S. number.
  • If the codes don't work, restart your phone and try entering them again.
