How do I enable mobile Hotspot?

Your Tello plan already includes the Mobile Hotspot feature at no extra cost! Your hotspot simply uses the data from your monthly balance.

Quick Setup Guide
  • For iPhone (iOS):
    1. Open Settings.
    2. Tap Cellular (or Mobile Data), then Personal Hotspot.
    3. Toggle the switch to ON.

  • For Android:
    1. Open Settings.
    2. Tap Connections or Network & Internet.
    3. Select Mobile Hotspot and Tethering.
    4. Toggle Mobile Hotspot to ON.
Note: Android menus vary by model; if you don’t see these exact steps, try searching for "Hotspot" in your Settings search bar.

⚠️ Important Details
  • Data Usage: Hotspot data pulls directly from your monthly plan. If you are on the Unlimited Data plan, you have 10GB specifically allotted for hotspot use.
  • Automatic Shut-off: If your Plan Data runs out and your Pay As You Go balance falls below $0.50, the hotspot will be automatically disabled until you top up.
