Will unused service carry over to the next month?
In most cases, unused balances do not roll over automatically. However, you can keep your unused minutes and data if you follow these specific steps!
1. Manual Renewal for monthly plans (not unlimited data)
To roll over your balance, you must manually renew or change your plan at least 24 hours before your current billing cycle ends.
2. Automatic Rollover for Unlimited Plans
We now offer a Data Rollover feature specifically for our Unlimited Plan users as a thank-you for your loyalty!
1. Manual Renewal for monthly plans (not unlimited data)
To roll over your balance, you must manually renew or change your plan at least 24 hours before your current billing cycle ends.
- Same Services Only: Your balance will only roll over if your new plan includes the same type of service. Example: If you have leftover minutes and data, they will roll over if your new plan has both. If you switch to a "Data Only" plan, your leftover minutes will expire.
2. Automatic Rollover for Unlimited Plans
We now offer a Data Rollover feature specifically for our Unlimited Plan users as a thank-you for your loyalty!
- Eligibility: You must have an active Tello line for at least 12 months and have been on an Unlimited Plan for the last 6 billing cycles without interruption.
- How it works: Once eligible, your unused high-speed data will automatically carry over each month (customers can roll over up to a maximum of 50 GB per month & accumulate up to 100 GB of high-speed data in their total monthly balance).
- Keep in mind: If you downgrade your plan or your service is suspended, your accumulated rollover balance will be lost.
- Promotions: Manually renewing or changing your plan early may void any special promotional discounts you currently have.
- Autopay Failures: If your billing fails or you forget to renew manually, any accumulated rollover will be lost.
- DIY Only: Manual renewals can only be done through your online account or the My Tello app.
