What do I do if I receive the Voicemail invalid message?

If you’re seeing an "Invalid" message, it usually means your mailbox hasn't been "introduced" to your phone yet. Think of it like a first handshake—once it’s done, you’re good to go.

Set It Up (New Users)
If you haven't used it before, the system will ask you to initialize your mailbox. Dial 123 and just follow the voice prompts to record your name, your greeting, and choose a password.

Access Your Voicemail
You can reach your mailbox in three quick ways:
  • Option 1. Press and hold the 1 key on your keypad.
  • Option 2. Dial 123.
  • Option 3. Dial your own Tello phone number.
Reset Your Password
If the system asks for a password you’ve forgotten, don't worry. You can reset it yourself:
  • Dial #793# on your keypad and follow the prompts in the confirmation message that pops up.

Pro-Tip
If you've tried the steps above and the system still says your number is "Invalid" or doesn't recognize you, it’s time to email us. This might be a back-end glitch that only our team can fix.
