Does Tello collect my data, can I disable it?

To keep your service running smoothly and securely, we do have to collect some basic information. However, you have a lot of control over your optional data and how it's used.

What we must collect (Required)
To provide you with cell service, we need to collect "Essential Data." This includes:
  • Usage & Billing: So we can track your minutes/data and process your payments.
  • Security Info: To protect your account from unauthorized access or fraud.
  • Service Maintenance: Technical data that ensures our network stays working for you.
What you can control (Optional)
You have the power to limit or disable other types of data collection:
  • Marketing Preferences: You can opt-out of receiving promotional emails or texts.
  • Tracking & Cookies: You can manage or disable cookies and targeted advertising through your browser settings.
  • State Privacy Rights: Depending on which state you live in, you may have specific legal rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data.

⚠️ Important note on deletion: If you wish to delete your data entirely, please keep in mind that this usually requires closing your Tello account, as we cannot provide service without the essential billing and usage info.
