Can I use the Tello service in Alaska?
Tello doesn't have cellular network coverage in Alaska.
However, you can absolutely still use your Tello service there with Wi-Fi Calling.
All you need is a stable Wi-Fi connection.
How to Use Wi-Fi Calling & Text
Wi-Fi Calling and Texting are included with your Tello service at no extra cost. This feature lets you make calls and send texts over any nearby Wi-Fi network—whether you're at home, in an office, staying at a hotel, or connected to a public hotspot. It is the perfect backup plan whenever you run into poor network coverage or no signal at all.
Next Steps
While you can use Wi-Fi calling in Alaska, Alaskan phone numbers are not eligible to be ported (transferred) over to the Tello network.
