Why am I getting the error "To allow Wi-Fi Calls on this account, contact your carrier"?

If your phone displays the error message, "To allow Wi-Fi Calls on this account, contact your carrier," you need to configure Wi-Fi calling on your online Tello account before it will work on your device.

How to Fix It:
Step 1: Register Your E911 Address: Log in to your Tello account and go to My Settings. Under the Wi-Fi Calling section, click Edit next to "Emergency E911 Address."
Fill in your USA address and click Save.

Step 2: Enable it on your phone
  • On iPhones: Go to Settings > tap Phone > select Wi-Fi Calling, and toggle it ON. Then, tap Update Emergency Address to confirm your details.
  • On Android: Open your Phone/Dialer app > tap the Menu (three dots) in the top right corner > Settings, select Wi-Fi Calling, and toggle it ON.
Try Troubleshooting: If you are still getting the error message after completing these steps, please follow the troubleshooting steps in our guide: Wi-Fi Calling is not working, what can I do?
