What kind of devices will work with Tello?
The service works on smartphones, but also on several other devices as long as they are unlocked and LTE/5G compatible.

The best way to be certain is to use our Bring Your Own Phone tool. Just enter your device’s ID (IMEI), and we’ll tell you instantly if it’s a match!
- Tablets & iPads
You can use Tello on your tablet if it supports VoLTE (Voice over LTE).
Data: Works just like a phone!
Calls & Texts: Since tablets aren't "phones," you’ll need to use an app (like a VoLTE app) or Wi-Fi Calling to chat.
The "My Tello" App: You can use our app on a tablet to make calls, but keep in mind you won't be able to receive calls or texts through it. - Smartwatches
Apple Watch: Not supported at this time.
Other Watches: Many eSIM-compatible watches (like Samsung Galaxy Watches) work great! Just make sure it’s unlocked and compatible with our network. - Modems & Routers We do not support MiFi, Netgear, or other modem/router devices. Tello is designed for personal mobile devices only.
