How can I manage or cancel the account of a deceased family member?

We are deeply sorry for your loss. We want to make this process as simple as possible so you can focus on what matters most. Whether you want to close the account or keep the service active under your name, the steps are the same.

How to start the process
Please call our Customer Service team at 1-866-377-0294. Our team is trained to handle these calls with care and will guide you through the next steps.

Information you’ll need
To help us find and verify the account quickly, please have the following ready before you call:
  • The Account Details: The full name and email address associated with the Tello account.
  • The Phone Number: The specific Tello mobile number.
  • Your Details: Your relationship to the account holder, plus your own contact phone number and email.
Required Documentation
Once we verify the account, we may ask you to provide one of the following documents to finalize the changes:
  • Death Certificate: This can be an original or a copy (certified or non-certified).
  • Letters Testamentary: A document certifying you as the executor of the estate.
Pro-Tip
If you decide to keep the phone number and move it to your own Tello account, let the representative know immediately.
