Where can I find the PUK to unblock my line?
If your phone is asking for a PUK (Personal Unblocking Key), don't worry—it’s just a security measure to protect your SIM card. Here is how to find it:
The PUK lock is triggered by the SIM card itself after too many incorrect PIN attempts. It’s a built-in security feature of the card, not a restriction placed by Tello.
⚠️ Warning:
Be very careful when entering the PUK. If you enter the wrong PUK code too many times (usually 10 attempts), your SIM card will be permanently disabled. If that happens, you’ll need to purchase a replacement SIM to get back online.
✅ Pro-Tip
If you’ve misplaced the original packaging, you won't be able to find the PUK in your online dashboard. To retrieve it, please contact our Customer Support team. To speed things up, please have your ICCID number ready—this is the long string of numbers printed directly on the back of your Tello SIM card.
- The easiest place to find the 8-digit PUK code is on the large plastic card your Tello SIM was originally attached to. It is usually printed right next to the "PUK" label.
