My battery does not last long, what can I do?

If your battery isn't lasting as long as you expect, the first step is to check your device's standard battery life. You can find this in the User Manual on our Phones page.

All Tello devices are guaranteed to have at least 80% of the original battery capacity stated in the manual. If your battery is within this range, it is considered healthy.

If you determine the battery is draining too fast, please try the following:
  1. Adjust Settings: Lower your screen brightness, change the display timeout, and disable keyboard sounds or vibrations.
  2. Limit Background Activity: Close or limit apps that use the most battery and delete any unused accounts.
  3. Enable Optimization: Turn on "Smart Battery" or battery optimization features in your settings and disable power-hungry features like Bluetooth or GPS when not in use.
  4. Battery Care: Keep your device at low temperatures and avoid overcharging.
If you still need help, email our Support team with your battery details.

⚠️ Warning: Keep in mind that Tello phones are covered by a 30-day warranty. If you believe your battery is defective, you must contact Customer Support within 30 days of purchase to be eligible for warranty assistance.
