What is an HAC-Rating when it comes to hearing aid compatible devices?
An HAC Rating (Hearing Aid Compatibility) helps you identify phones that won't cause buzzing or interference with your hearing aid.
Phones with an M-Rating of M3 or M4 meet FCC requirements and are less likely to generate interference with hearing devices than phones that are not labeled. Based on current standards, M4 is the higher rating among the two.
